The reserve lies on the shore of Lake Nhlange in the Kosi Lake system, and stretches to the Mozambique border and the Indian Ocean to the East. On the beach we meet\u00a0 the research team guides, who help us search for the gentle giants of the oceans. Leather back and Logger head turtles return to these beaches every year to deposit their valuable eggs.\u00a0 Only three in 1,000 of these hatchings will make it to adulthood \u2013 and then return two decades later to nest on the very same beach.<\/p>\n<p>After being mesmerised by these beauties, we return to the lodge with our driver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday &amp; Monday at leisure.<\/strong><br \/>\n# If the group wants to do a Three Lake tour (optional extra).
